Kathy joined Granite Group Benefits as the Director of Health & Wellness in November 2014. Prior to joining GGB, she managed comprehensive health and wellness programs for large corporations, worked in clinical and collegiate health promotion and in several private fitness studios. She has also served as a visiting lecturer at Plymouth State University, advising students and instructing various courses for the Health & Human Performance Department. Kathy’s passion for healthy living goes beyond promoting balanced nutrition and physical activity. She looks to help people find a way of life that allows them to experience the maximum amount of energy every day so they can pursue the things they love. She thrives on sharing those concepts with employers to cultivate cultures of wellness by creating environments and networks that provide opportunities for people to learn, adopt and sustain healthy lifestyles.
Kathy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science & Sports Studies from the University of Tampa and her Master’s degree in Human Performance from Bridgewater State University. She is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and is also certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), American Council of Exercise (ACE), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). An outdoor enthusiast, Kathy is also a volunteer hike leader for the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) New Hampshire Chapter.
